Continuing your Computer Science education

We live in a great time for self-directed, on-line CS education; students should find programs they like and become a part of those communities.

(If the links below don’t work for you,  do a Google search on the program name.)
If you’re interested in developing mobile apps, take a look at Android AppInventor at http://appinventor.mit.edu/ ;

if you want to make some simple games and animations, take a look at Scratch at http://scratch.mit.edu/ ;

if you want to take higher-level, online courses, check out Udacity at https://www.udacity.com/  or Coursera at https://www.coursera.org/;

and for a good starting point, visit http://www.code.org/ .

If you don’t have access to a good computer and internet connection at home or with a relative, check out your local library or other community resources.   Many of these courses and programs don’t require software installation.
